Very predictable result when leader Qian Xi Red (6-0) rolled over at home 7th ranked Qian Xi Blue (2-2) 75-48 on Saturday. Qian Xi Red looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Jia-Min Lim nailed 18 points and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side and Bernice Yeo accounted for 17 points. Pei-Sze Chia came up with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds and Leshane Yeoh added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Qian Xi Blue in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Qian Xi Red. They maintain first place with 6-0 record. Loser Qian Xi Blue dropped to the eighth position with two games lost. They share it with Whye Nam. Qian Xi Red will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Qian Xi Blue will play against Siglap Black (#3) and hope to secure a win.
