Regular Season Round 13: Terrafirma Dyip - TNT Tropang 90-121

Bottom-ranked Terrafirma Dyip (0-8) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 121-90 loss to ninth ranked TNT Tropang (4-4) in Makati City on Saturday evening. TNT Tropang outrebounded Terrafirma Dyip 51-36 including 38 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Terrafirma Dyip's players. American forward Cameron Oliver (203-1996, college: Nevada) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and power forward John Paul Erram (203-1989) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. Five TNT Tropang players scored in double figures. At the losing side British V.Islands-Indonesian center Lester Prosper (210-1988, college: Old Westbury, agency: YoungGroup Unlimited) responded with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 15 rebounds and forward Eric Camson (193-1990) scored 16 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. TNT Tropang moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Rain or Shine. Terrafirma Dyip at the other side still closes the standings with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
