Regular Season Round 6: KoGas - Suwon KT 81-97

There was a minor upset in Inchon where 8th ranked KoGas (2-6) were defeated by tenth ranked Suwon KT (2-6) 97-81 on Thursday. Suwon KT made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American swingman EJ Anosike (201-1998, college: CS Fullerton) who scored 34 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Guard Seong-Woo Jeong (178-1993) chipped in 16 points and 7 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Murphy Holloway (201-1990, college: Ole Miss, agency: Octagon Europe) who recorded 15 points and 8 rebounds and the former international forward Dae-Sung Lee (192-1990, college: BYU-Hawaii) added 20 points respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Suwon KT moved-up to ninth place, which they share with defeated KoGas. Suwon KT will meet at home higher ranked Seoul Knights (#8) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. KoGas will play against LG Sakers and hope to secure a win.
