The most interesting game of round 9 was a home defeat of 3rd placed Jiangsu Dragons (6-3) by second ranked Loongs (7-2) who outscored them by 15 points 104-89. It ended the four-game winning streak of Jiangsu Dragons. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Loongs looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American point guard Kahlil Felder (175-1995, college: Oakland) stepped up and scored 16 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners and the former international forward Lin Chang (206-1988, college: LBSU) chipped in 12 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was American guard Antonio Blakeney (193-1996, college: LSU) with 23 points and 7 rebounds and the former international forward Yujia Wu (200-1999) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Five Loongs and four Jiangsu Dragons players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Loongs have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 7-2 record having just two points less than leader Zhejiang GB., which they share with Liaoning FL. Jiangsu Dragons at the other side dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with Shandong H. and Nanjing TX MK.
