Guard Deshawndre Washington (201, college: NM State, agency: The Crew A.M.) stepped up and scored 27 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and guard Jermaine Love (191-1989, college: UIS) chipped in 23 points (made all of his nine free throws !!!). Four Shabab Al Ahli players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Treveon Graham (198-1993, college: VCU) responded with 37 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds and center Alec Brown (216-1992, college: Green Bay) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.

American forward Jordon Varnado (198-1997, college: Troy) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds and the other American import point guard Glynn Watson Jr. (183-1997, college: Nebraska) added 22 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game.

Al Riyadi looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Guangsha Lions' players.
