Bangladesh Navy clinched the Independence Day Basketball title beating Europa Youth Club by 92-63 points in the final at the Dhanmondi Basketball Gymnasium here today (Thursday).
State Minister for Youth and Sports M Ahad Ali Sarkar was the chief guest in the day?s final and later distributed the prizes.
In the day?s final match, Bangladesh Navy dominated the first half by 36-25 points.
Mithun caged 32 and Rashed 23 points for the Navy men while Setu scored 18 and Shawon 10 points for Europa Youth Club.

BAF and IAF Friendly Basketball match held - 3 Years ago
A friendly Basketball match between Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) and Indian Air Force (IAF) held at the basketball ground of Bangladesh Air Force Base Bangabandhu on Thursday.
