BAHRAIN’S Seef bowed out of the Abu Dhabi Masters last night, part of this year’s Fiba 3x3 World Tour. Seef lost both their games in Pool C of the competition’s preliminary round – first to Amsterdam Rabobank from the Netherlands 10-18, and then against Lugano Handong from Switzerland 8-19. Seef competed in the UAE capital with their all-Bahraini quartet of Alwatheq Ali, Nasser Almosawi (190-F-1994), Sayed Mohammed Hameed, and Sadeq Shukrallah. They finished last in their group and continue to search for their first win in their debut season on the Fiba 3x3 World Tour – the premier street basketball series under the International Basketball Federation. Abu Dhabi marks the latest top-tier event on the tour’s 2025 calendar. Another Masters event in Bucharest will be held on November 8 and 9 prior to the Fiba 3x3 World Tour finale in Bahrain on November 21 and 22, entitled the Manama Final. It will be the third time the Fiba 3x3 World Tour visits Bahrain, but the first time for the season’s curtain-closing tournament.
