Muharraq claim victory

MUHARRAQ Club won the sixth and final round of the Bahrain 3x3 Summer Tour 2025. The competition was held at the Muharraq Club basketball hall. Muharraq secured first place after defeating former winners Falcons 17-13 in the final. Following all the action, the winners were presented their respective awards by BBA officials. The event featured 18 squads and it concluded the series’ six-round schedule, organised by the Bahrain Basketball Association and sanctioned by the International Basketball Federation (Fiba). It offers a total prize pool of more than $6,000. With their triumph, Muharraq joined the other winners of the inaugural Bahrain 3x3 Summer Tour 2025, including Saar, who won twice, Seef, BS Action, and the Falcons. All the victors now head for the grand finale, which is known as a Quest event. There, the winners will punch a ticket to a yet-to-be-determined Masters competition on this year’s Fiba 3x3 World Tour. The Bahrain 3x3 Summer Tour is part of the BBA’s agenda aimed at promoting basketball during the summer and providing a competitive platform for the game’s enthusiasts in a dynamic format, played on a half-court with one hoop. This championship represents a key initiative by the BBA to expand the participation base and establish Bahrain’s presence on the international 3x3 circuit. This edition marks the launch of what will become an annual event.
