Britney Jones (ex Poznan) is a newcomer at Alba

Britney Jones

Alba (Premier League) strengthened their roster with the addition of experienced 37-year-old American point guard Britney Jones (174cm-1987, college: UAB) for the 2025-26 season. She played most recently at Enea AZS Politechnika Poznan in the Polish OBLK. In 15 games, she recorded 11.9ppg, 2.7rpg, 3.1apg, and 1.3spg last season.
She is a quite experienced player. Thanks to Jones' pro career, she managed to play on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa, and of course North America) in fourteen different countries. Jones has played previously professionally in Belarus (BC Minsk), Belgium (Namur and Royal Braine), Greece, Iceland, Israel (Elitzur Holon and Hapoel Petah Tikva), Mexico (Libertadoras), Morocco (KACM Kawkab de Marrakech), Poland (Sosnowiec and Wroclaw), Puerto Rico, Romania (Targoviste, ASC Sepsi SIC Sfantu Gheorghe, Brasov, and Constanta), Russia (UMMC Yekaterinburg and Chevakata), Switzerland (Fribourg), El Salvador (Santa Tecla Elite and Metapan), and Mongolia (Ulaanbaatar Amazons).
She won the El Salvador Liga Mayor Clausura championship title in 2024, along with receiving the Eurobasket.com All-Belarusian League Player of the Year award and Eurobasket.com All-Belarusian League Import Player of the Year award in 2021. It's likely that she will finish her playing career at Alba.
Jones graduated from UAB in 2009 and it will be her 17th season as a pro player.
