Syria - Bahrain 89-87

Syria claimed the third straight FIBA Asia Cup appearance. They overcame Bahrain in Qatar to improve at 3-3 record in Group F. Myron Gordon (190-G-1997, college: BGSU) finished with 27 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds for the winners.
Syria posted a 24-15 lead after ten minutes. Bahrain sank 25 points in the second frame to pull within 6 points at halftime 46-40. Syria poured in 21 points in the third term to secure a 7-point advantage at the final intermission. Bahrain unloaded 27 points in the fourth frame but could not avoid the loss. Omar Ali (200-C-2004) accounted for 15 points for the winners. Bahrain answered with 27 points and 19 rebounds from Devon Chism (206-PF-1987, college: Tennessee).
