Al-Ittihad lands Kevin Mickle

Al-Ittihad Manama (Premier League) tabbed 31-year old American (has also Guyanese passport) 201cm forward Kevin Mickle (college: Ohio). He already started the season at Al Wahda in Syrian SBL league.
The most of last season he spent at Deba in Saudi Arabian SBL where in 11 games he was league's third best scorer with impressive 27.7ppg and recorded 11.9rpg (#5 in the league), 2.6apg and 1.4spg. Good season as he was voted League Player of the Week (2 times). He also played for Al Ahli Sports Club Doha (QBL) in Qatari league.
Mickle is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in nine different countries playing on four different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Mickle has played previously professionally in Germany (Eagles), Jordan (Al Jubaiha), Puerto Rico (Criollos), Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Spain (Cornella), Switzerland (Nyon) and The Basketball Tournament (Ohio 1804).
Among many awards his team won A-Sun Regular Season in 2017. He was selected to Eurobasket.com All-German 2.Bundesliga Pro B Honorable Mention back in 2019.
Mickle graduated from Ohio University in 2018 and it is his seventh season in pro basketball. He played for other colleges like: Florida Gulf Coast University, Broward College, Central Connecticut State University.
