Maccabi Effie Capital Rishon Le-Zion (National League) signed 28-year old American power forward Carlton Bragg Jr. (208cm-100kg-1995, college: N.Mexico). Bragg already started the season at Al-Manama in Bahrain Premier League. In two games he had 12.0ppg, 6.0rpg, 1.0apg and 1.5bpg.
He represented USA at the World University Games in Gwangju (South Korea) nine years ago. Bragg's team won Gold and his stats at that event were 8 games: 3.8ppg, 3.8rpg.
Bragg is quite experienced player. He has played in seven different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Bragg has played previously professionally in Canada (Stingers), Dominican Republic (Marineros), Italy, Poland (Twarde Pierniki), Saudi Arabia (Al Nassr), Turkey (Ankaragucu and Balikesir Buyuksehir Belediyespor) and Czech Republic (Nymburk). His team won Big 12 Regular Season in 2016 and 2017.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Turkish TBL Defensive Player of the Year in 2022.
He graduated from University of New Mexico in 2020 and it is his fifth season as a professional player. Bragg played also for University of Kansas for 2 years.
