Cliff Alexander (ex Beirut Club) signs at Al-Ahli

Al-Ahli Manama (Premier League) signed 28-year-old American 203cm power forward Cliff Alexander (college: Kansas, agency: MSG) for the upcoming season. He was the top rebounder at Beirut Club in the Lebanese LBL league last season, averaging an impressive 17.3ppg, 9.5rpg (#4 in the league), and 1.1apg in 16 games. He helped them finish the regular season as the second-best team in the league and advance to the league semifinals. In the previous (2022-23) season, he played for Al Nasr Benghazi (D1) in the Libyan league.
Alexander has attempted to make it to the NBA and participated in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
He is a very experienced player. Alexander has traveled the world during his pro career, playing in eight different countries on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa, and North America). He has played professionally in the Dominican Republic (Metros), France (ASVEL Lyon Villeurbanne Basket and Le Mans), Germany (Brose Bamberg), Korea (KoGas and Sonicboom), NBA (New Orleans Pelicans, Portland Trail Blazers, and Orlando Magic), NBA G League (Santa Cruz Warriors, College Park SkyHawks, Long Island Nets, and Wisconsin Herd), and NBA Summer League (LA Clippers).
He received the Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League Player of the Year award and the Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League Import Player of the Year award in 2023.
He attended the University of Kansas until 2015, and it will be his 10th season in pro basketball.
