Manama ease past Al Ahli to lift Khalifa bin Salman Cup basketball

Manama have claimed back-to-back titles in the Khalifa bin Salman Cup basketball tournament. They captured this year’s crown with a dominant 96-83 victory over long-time rivals Al Ahli in tonight's final, played at Khalifa Sports City Arena in Isa Town. Manama led by as many as 25 points in the game. Sir'Dominic Pointer (198-G/F-1992, college: St.John's) and Mohammed Ameer finished as their leading scorers with 22 points apiece.
