Steelers land Cameron Clark, ex Al-Manama

Kaohsiung Steelers (PLeague+) have signed 32-year-old American Cameron Clark , a 201cm forward from Oklahoma, represented by Slash Sports. Clark previously played for Al-Manama in the Bahrain Premier League, where he averaged 19.3ppg, 8.7rpg, 3.0apg, and 1.0spg in three games. Last summer, he played for Halcones UV Xalapa in the Mexican league and had a pre-season stint with Fajardo in the Puerto Rican league.
He tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2015.
He is a very experienced player, thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in ten different countries playing on four different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally in France (Le Mans and Chalon/Saor), Germany (ratiopharm Ulm and EWE Baskets), Israel (Ironi Nahariya), Italy (Cremona), Mexico, Philippines (SM Beermen and NLEX Road Warriors), Puerto Rico, Turkey (Gaziantep and Bahcesehir) and Uruguay (Urunday).
His team was the regular season runner-up in the PBA Governor's Cup in 2022. He received the Eurobasket.com All-FIBA Europe Cup Player of the Year award and the Eurobasket.com All-French ProA Forward of the Year award in 2017.
He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2014 and it's his tenth season in pro basketball.
