In 2010, he was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA) in the second round (43rd overall). He graduated from West Virginia University, and it is his 14th season in pro basketball. He is a highly experienced player, having played in twelve different countries on four continents - Europe, Asia, Latin America, and North America. He has played professionally in France (Chalons Reims), Greece (Iraklis), Israel (Bnei Hertzeliya), Italy (Mens Sana), Japan (San-en NeoPhoenix), Mexico (Halcones Rojos), Puerto Rico (Vaqueros, Leones, Atleticos, Brujos, and Indios), United Arab Emirates (Al Sharjah), Dominican Republic (Reales), NBA G League (Texas Legends, NAZ Suns, Springfield A., and Grand Rapids Gold), and The Basketball Tournament (Best Virginia). He won the Saudi Arabia League championship title in 2023. He was voted Asia-Basket.com All-Saudi Arabian SBL Player of the Year and Asia-Basket.com All-Saudi Arabian SBL Import Player of the Year in 2023.
