Al Ittihad (D1) has signed Brittany Lewis, a 34-year-old Bahrain-American power forward who stands at 188cm tall. Lewis, who played college basketball at La Tech and is represented by Interperformances,

Lewis most recently played for Lobas in the Mexican LMBPF, where she averaged an impressive 16.5ppg, 9.1rpg, 2.2apg, and 1.2spg in 11 games last season, helping the team reach the semifinals. She was also voted to the Mexican LMBPF All-Star Game. Prior to her time in Mexico, Lewis had a brief stint with BCF Elfic Fribourg Basket in the Swiss league, as well as one game in the Swiss SBL. She was a member of the Bahrain Senior National Team in 2017.

She is a highly experienced player, having played professionally in Greece for Sporting and PAOK Thessaloniki, in Poland for AZS Gdansk, in Slovakia for Samorin, in Switzerland, and in Turkey for Osmaniye.
Her college team reached the Greek Cup final in 2018.

She graduated from Louisiana Tech University in 2013, and this will be her 11th season in professional basketball. She also played for other colleges such as Temple University and Virginia Tech University.
