Al-Muharraq inks experienced 35-year-old American 203cm forward Tyler Wilkerson, who played at Shabab Al Ahli in the UAE ULB league.
During the previous (2020-21) season, he split his time between US Monastir (ProA) in the Tunisian league and Al Sharjah (D1) in the UAE league.
He attempted to reach the NBA and participated in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2012.
He is a highly experienced player who has traveled extensively throughout his professional career, playing in eight different countries across four continents. These countries include China (Guizhou and Shaanxi), Israel, Korea (KCC Egis), Philippines (SM Beermen), Puerto Rico (Vaqueros, Gallitos, and Piratas), Tunisia, NBA G League (Austin Spurs and Delaware Blue Coats), and The Basketball Tournament (Team KBC). In 2021, he achieved great success by winning both the Tunisian League championship title and the cup.
In 2016, he was voted Asia-Basket.com All-PBA Commissioner's Cup Defensive Player of the Year, among many other awards.
He graduated from Marshall University in 2010, and this upcoming season will mark his 14th in professional basketball.
