Bahrain Club tabs Damonte Dodd, ex Vellaznimi

Al-Bahrain-Club-Manama (Premier League) inked 28-year old American 211cm power forward Damonte Dodd (college: Maryland). Dodd started the season at Vellaznimi in Kosovan Superliga. In 26 games he averaged 11.8ppg, 12.0rpg, 2.2apg and 1.5bpg. Good season as he was voted League Player of the Week.
He is a very experienced player. Dodd has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to five different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Mexico (Aguilas Doradas), Poland (GTK), Czech Republic (Decin and Svitavy), NBA G League (Maine Celtics) and The Basketball Tournament (Peacock Nation). His team made it to the Big Ten Tournament Semifinals in 2015 and 2016.
Dodd graduated from University of Maryland in 2017 and it is his sixth season in pro basketball.
Dodd's game is described as: "He plays extremely hard and he strives to get better every day. Hes almost 6-foot-10 and still growing.
