Al-Ahli adds Johnson to their roster, ex Qingdao E.

Al-Ahli-Manama (Premier League) added to their roster 27-year old American ex-international power forward Dakari Johnson (213cm-116kg-1995, college: Kentucky). Johnson joins another USA player Lenny Daniel who is already in the roster.
He has played for the last three seasons at Qingdao Eagles in Chinese CBA league. In 25 games he recorded very impressive stats: 17.6ppg, 11.1rpg and 3.6apg last season. A very spectacular year in his career as he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese CBA Third Team.
In 2015 he was drafted by Oklahoma City Thunder (NBA) in second round (48th overall). The former University of Kentucky star is in his eighth season in pro basketball.
He was a member of USA international program for some years. He was called to USA Senior National Team back in 2018 and previously for U17 National Team in 2012.
Johnson has played also professionally in NBA (Orlando Magic) and NBA G League (OKC Blue).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he won Chinese NBL championship title in 2019. He was selected to Asia-Basket.com Chinese CBA All-Imports Team in 2021.
