Al-Najma lands Nick Ward

Al-Najma Manama (Premier League) landed 25-year old American 203cm forward Nick Ward (college: Michigan State) for new season. Ward played most recently at Bucketneers (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S.
He is a very experienced player. Ward has played also professionally in Canada (Ottawa), Israel (Gilboa Galil), Spain (Coruna), Turkey (Fethiye and Istanbul), NBA G League (College Park SkyHawks) and The Basketball Tournament (Big X). He won OCC-Ohio championship title in 2014, 2015 and 2016. Ward was voted to All-Big Ten Honorable Mention back in 2017 and 2018.
He graduated from Michigan State in 2019 and it will be his fourth season in pro basketball.
