Davon Jefferson (ex Mayaguez) joins Al-Ahli

Al-Ahli Manama (Premier League) added to their roster experienced 35-year old American forward Davon Jefferson (203cm-99kg-1986, college: USC) for new 2022-23 season. Jefferson played this summer at Indios de Mayaguez in Puerto Rican BSN league. He managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year. In 9 BSN games just recently he had very impressive stats: 15.9ppg, 6.3rpg and 2.9apg. Great season as he was named to Latinbasket.com All-Puerto Rican BSN Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week. Jefferson also played for Cariduros (BSN) where in 9 games he recorded also remarkable stats: 18.0ppg, 8.9rpg, 2.1apg and 1.1spg. A very spectacular season in his career as he was named to Latinbasket.com All-Puerto Rican BSN Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week.
He is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in twelve different countries. Jefferson tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in China (Guangzhou Liu Sui), France (ASVEL Lyon Villeurbanne Basket), Israel (Next Urban Maccabi Haifa), Italy (Cantu and RO Virtus), Korea (LG Sakers), Russia (Enisey, Zenit and Krasny Oktyabr), Turkey (Gaziantep, Yesilgiresun and Acibadem), Ukraine (Budivelnyk), Venezuela (Guaros), Puerto Rico (Capitanes and Cangrejeros), United Arab Emirates (Shabab Al Ahli) and NBA G League (Memphis Hustle). Jefferson was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Israeli League Forward of the Year back in 2009 and 2010.
It's very possible he may end his playing career at Al-Ahli.
He graduated from University of Southern California in 2008 and it will be his 15th (!!!) season as a professional player.
