MUHARRAQ notched the basketball title in the seventh Girls Sports Festival which was organised by the General Organisation for Youth and Sports.
They won all their four matches against Interior Ministry, Ibn Khuldoon School Omaima School and Bahrain Development Bank team in this round robin event.
Omaima School finished runners-up and Bahrain Development Bank third.
Sara Sameii of Ibn Khuldoon took the badminton title. Nehad Al Murbati and Fatma Sameii, both Ibn Khuldoon, were second and third respectively. Earlier, Riffa won the soccer title defeating Al Najma 3-0 in the final, Bahrain Development Bank team clinched the handball championship while Fajr Al Sahli and Kaltham Al Yasi took the under-14 and under-17 titles respectively.
