Dexter Pittman

Al-Bahrain Club Manama (Premier League) signed 33-year old Taiwanese-American ex-international center Dexter Pittman (208cm-129kg-88, college: Texas). Pittman joins another USA player Kevin Murphy who is already in the roster.
He started the season at Al Sharjah in UAE ULB league. He helped them to win the cup. The last season he played at Al-Riffa where in 10 Bahrain games he was league's fourth best scorer with impressive 30.1ppg and averaged 17.0rpg, 1.7apg, 1.1spg and 1.7bpg. 2020-21 was a great season as he was named to Asia-Basket.com All-Bahrain League 2nd Team and All-Imports Team.
In 2010 he was drafted by Miami Heat (NBA) in second round (32nd overall). The former University of Texas star is in his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball. He was a member of Taiwanese Senior National Team in 2019.
He is quite experienced player. Pittman has played in eight different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in China, Italy, Japan (Fukuoka Rizing and Toyama Grouses), Puerto Rico (Atleticos and Cariduros), Turkey (TED Ankara), NBA (Atlanta Hawks, Chicago Bulls and Memphis Grizzlies), NBA G League (Sioux Falls Skyforce) and Bahrain (Al-Ahli).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Italian Serie A Center of the Year back in 2016.
