Al-Ittihad Manama (Premier League) tabbed 28-year old American 211cm forward Stephen Hurt, college: of Kansas State for new season. Hurt played most recently at Aomori Watts in Japanese B2 League. In 54 games he averaged 14.5ppg, 9.2rpg and 2.5apg last season.
The previous (19-20) season he played at Pass lab Yamagata Wyverns (also in B2 League) where in 32 games he had very impressive stats: 17.3ppg, 10.4rpg and 3.2apg.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in five different countries playing on three different continents. Hurt is familiar with European, Asian and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally in Finland (Kobrat), Indonesia (CLS Knights), Qatar (Al Rayyan), Slovenia (Hopsi Polzela) and Turkey (Yalova).
Among many awards his team made it to the Slovenian Cup Final Four in 2017. Hurt was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Qatar D1 Honorable Mention back in 2018.
He attended of Kansas State until 2016 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball.
