The Women's Basketball League for the new season kicks off today with two games at the Zain Basketball Arena in Um Al Hassam. Bapco will take on Gulf University In the opening match at 5pm and Najma will play Qadisiya Youth Empowerment Centre at 7pm. The Bahrain Basketball Association announced that five teams, including Riffa, will take part in the league. The top four teams in the preliminary round will qualify for the Golden Square.
