Dexter Pittman

Al-Riffa (Premier League) signed 32-year old Taiwanese international center Dexter Pittman (208-129kg-88, college: Texas). He is a dual citizen owning also American passport. Pittman played last summer at Atleticos de San German in Puerto Rican BSN league but left the team in December. In 7 games he had 8.9ppg, 6.1rpg, 1.3apg, and 1.1bpg. The last season he played at Al-Ahli. Pittman helped them to win the cup and end the regular season at the top position.

In 2010 he was drafted by Miami Heat (NBA) in the second round (32nd overall). Pittman attended the University of Texas and it is his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball. Pittman has been regularly called to the Taiwanese Senior National Team since 2019.

He is quite an experienced player. Pittman has played in seven different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, and of course North America). He has played previously professionally also in China, Italy, Japan (Rising and Toyama Grouses), Turkey (TED Ankara), NBA (Atlanta Hawks, Chicago Bulls, and Memphis Grizzlies), and NBA G League (Sioux Falls Skyforce).

The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Italian SerieA Center of the Year back in 2016.
