Dominique Sutton

Al-Ahli (Premier League) added to their roster 33-year old American swingman Dominique Sutton (198-98kg-86, college: NCCU). He played this summer at Armored Athlete (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. Sutton managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year. The last season Sutton played at Happy Casa Brindisi in Italian league where in three Basketball Champions League games he had 14.7ppg, 7.3rpg, 1.0apg and 1.7spg. He also played 7 games in Italian Serie A where he recorded 7.1ppg, 5.6rpg, 1.1apg and 1.7spg. Sutton helped them to make it to the cup final.
In 2012 he was drafted by Tulsa 66ers (D-League) in first round (6th overall).
Sutton attended North Carolina Central University and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2015.
He is quite experienced player. Sutton's career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in ten different countries. Sutton tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in China (Anhui Wenyi), France (Sluc Nancy and Chalon/Saor), Germany (ratiopharm Ulm), Greece (AE Kallitheas), Lithuania (Rytas), Philippines (North Port and Air21 Express), Spain (Burgos), NBA G League (Santa Cruz Warriors and OKC Blue), Italy (Trento) and Dominican Republic (Titanes Licey).
Sutton won D-League championship title in 2015.
