Rickey Young (ex Banijas) agreed terms with Al-Riffa

Al-Riffa (Premier League) inked 29-year old American power forward Rickey Young (205-100kg-90, college: WVU Tech). He played most recently at Banijas in UAE D1 league.
The previous (17-18) season Young played at Al Naft (IBL) in Iraqi league. He helped them to win the league title.
Young is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to seven different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Young has played previously professionally in Finland, Germany (Giessen 46ers), Kosovo (Bashkimi), Montenegro, Qatar (Al Khor), Bolivia (La Salle Olympic CBBA Cochabamba and La Salle Tarija) and Iraq (Al Karkh).
He attended West Virginia University Inst. of Techn. until 2011 and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball.
