American-Guamanian Forward Curtis Washington (208-F-91, agency: Haylett Sports) put on an amazing game in the last round for Al-Nweidrat, receiving a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 12.
The 27-year old player had a double-double of 46 points and 19 rebounds, while his team outclassed Al-Najma (#6, 4-6) with 29-point margin 99-70. Al-Nweidrat is placed at 11th position in Bahrain Premier League. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 9 games and recorded just two victories. In the team's last game Washington had a remarkable 61.9% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 10 attempts. He turned to be Al-Nweidrat's top player in his first season with the team. Curtis Washington averages just after two games 38.5ppg and 19.0rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was 34-year old Bosnia and Herzegovina Mile Ilic (215-C-84) of Al-Ittihad. Ilic had a very good evening with a double-double of 28 points and 18 rebounds. Bad luck as Al-Ittihad lost that game 83-88 to slightly higher-ranked Al-Riffa (#3, 9-2). Al-Ittihad managed to keep the same 5th spot in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 5-5 record is not bad and everything may still change. Ilic is a newcomer at Al-Ittihad, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.2ppg (#6). His other stats are also decent: 19.9rpg and 3.1apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Wayne Chism (206-PF-87) of league's top team Al-Manama. Chism showcased his all-around game by recording 27 points, sixteen rebounds (!!!) and seven assists in the last round. He was a key player of Al-Manama, leading his team to a 87-82 win against the lower-ranked Al-Hala (#7, 4-6). Al-Manama have amazing season winning all 10 games without a single defeat. Chism turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Chism has a great season in Bahrain. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 10.1rpg (9th best). Wayne Chism has also Bahrain passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.

Other top performing players last week:
