Shane Walker
SHANE WALKER

Al-Ittihad (Premier League) landed 30-year old British international power forward Shane Walker (208-87, college: Loyola, MD). He has played for the last three years at Jelson Homes DMU Leicester Riders in British BBL league. In 30 games he averaged 8.3ppg, 5.6rpg, 1.3apg and 1.2spg in 20 minutes last season. Walker helped them to win the league title.
In the last 3 seasons he won the league title 2 times and reached the final one time.
He was selected to British BBL All-Star Game back in 2014.
Walker also represented United Kingdom at the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast (Australia) this year.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball Walker experienced life in six different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, African and of course North American leagues. Walker has played previously professionally also in Cyprus, France (Lourdes Tarbes), Greece (Apollon Patras), Holland (Matrixx Magixx Wijchen) and Morocco (ASS Sale).
He attended Loyola College until 2012 and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball.
Let's have closer look into Walker's outlook: An athletic big man who runs the court well and fits perfectly in a fast-paced style of game. Needs to improve his scoring skills, while is yet adequate at the rebounding dept.
