Iraq exists, at least in Basketball

Come and see Iraq in Tehran. They are very motivated team, who fight for every point seriously. Although you think war must effect on them. They are really eager, well discipline and hard fighters in the courts.
Munthir Shnawa the head coach of the Iraqis side is sharing us the situation of Basketball in Iraq after the unwanted war:
I can't say it is normal to play basketball in Iraq but we do. We must keep playing, we must keep training and taking part in different competition and we must came to Tehran for this championship. Our situation is not good, not bad. We just train.
When Dato Yeoh the General Secretary of FIBA ASIA was watching them against Japan, he revealed that as a member of FIBA Asia's family he is definitely happy that Iraqi's are here. He sorted out that during the junior U18 Afghanistan was in Bangalor and here is the turns of Iraq to show to the world that they are exist.
We have been to Turkey for 2 weeks. And played some games with local clubs. We are not well prepared but I think it is good for this championship.
With 2 victories from 2 games now Iraq hops to go far than the first round.
