Qatar needed to be the winner of the game, as they are the champions of the Asia and for them prestigious wasn't good saying good-bye so soon.
The red Qatari's was too strong to be beaten easily. They were more aggressive than Kuwait in the court. They grabbed 22 offensive rebounds and made 31 defensive rebounds. Although Kuwait was running so hard in the second half, they never treat the Qatar's hoop.
In making this victory Mohammad Salaheldin who wears number 14 scored 22, Saad Abdul Rahman added 17 while Khalid sulaiman help his teammates by 15.
Now they are in the second round as the second team after Iran.
