Australia - Japan 88-52
Australia cruised past Japan to advance into the semifinal stage in Nonthaburi. Kyle Bowen (200-F-00) provided 22 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Emus. Australia recorded a 42:27 halftime lead. Australia then ignited a 25:11 run in the final period to rally to the victory. Samson Froling (210-F/C-00) had 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Emus. Keisei Tominaga (180-G-01) scored 16 points for Japan.

South Korea - China 85-90
China eked out a narrow win over South Korea in the quarterfinal clash tonight. Haowen Guo (201-F-00) tallied 33 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge. China posted a 42:27 halftime lead. South Korea responded with a strong 38:21 rally in the third term to surge ahead. However China sank 27 points in the fourth term and eked out victory. Michael Wang (208-F-00) had 20 points, 23 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. Hyunjung Lee (192-F-00) replied with 33 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists for South Korea.

Iran - New Zealand 72-87
New Zealand upset Iran to become the first semifinalists in Nonthaburi. James Moors (204-F/C-00) stepped up with 26 points and 14 rebounds to lead the winners. New Zealand posted a 21:14 lead ten minutes into the game. They went on a 25:15 rally in the third term to open a 13-point lead. The Kiwis sank 24 points in the fourth quarter and raced to the victory. Kruz Perrott-Hunt (190-F-00) delivered 18 points in the win. Behshad Arabzadeh (195-G-00) replied with 19 points for Iran.

Philippines - Bahrain 67-52
Philippines held off Bahrain to advance into the semifinal stage. Kai Sotto (216-C-02) scored 21 points and collected 10 rebounds in the victory. Bahrain went on a 23:6 rally in the second period to ensure a 34:26 halftime lead. But Philippines replied with a strong 41:18 second half run to secure the winning outcome. Ariel Edu (210-C-00) had 16 points and 17 rebounds for Philippines. Rashed Awadh (190-F-01) and Baqer Ali (171-PG-00) tossed in 13 points each for Bahrain.
