Toyota Alvark clinched the Asia Champions Cup title. They stormed past Riyadi in Nonthaburi to earn the trophy. Milan Macvan (206-PF-89) posted 20 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the winners.
Toyota Alvark claimed a 22:12 lead after ten minutes. They sank 25 points in the second term to take a 21-point halftime lead. Riyadi picked up the tempo in the third term pouring in 24 points but Alvark matched the effort and kept a 21-point lead heading into the fourth quarter. The Japanese team sank 27 points in the final period and rallied to the win. Alex Kirk (211-C-91, college: N.Mexico, agency: Pensack Sports) produced 18 points and 12 rebounds in the victory. Ekenechukwu Ibekwe (207-C-85, college: Maryland) answered with 31 points for Riyadi. Willie Warren had 19 points in the defeat.
