Seraeyett - Mono Vampire 100-102 OT Mono Vampire survived an overtime thriller versus Seraeyett to secure the first victory in Group A. Michael Singletary (198-F-88, college: Texas Tech) provided 38 points and 12 rebounds to lead the winners. Mono Vampire recorded a 46:41 halftime lead. Seraeyett knocked down 34 points in the third term to surge ahead. But Mono Vampire bounced back with a 21:15 run in the fourth term to force overtime. Mono Vampire dropped 12 points in the extra period to snatch the victory. Jason Brickman (181-PG-91, college: LIU Brooklyn) had 19 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists in the win. Group BAhli Shabab - Xinjiang FT 43-96Darius Adams (188-PG-89, college: Indianapolis) scored 17 points and issued 7 assists to lead Xinjiang past Ahli Shabab in Group B. The Chinese team piled up a 46:23 halftime lead. They used a 50:20 run in the second half to cruise to the victory. Makan Kelanbaike (197-F-92) produced 16 points for the winners. Qais Alshabebi (200-C-91) and Khalifa Salem (180-G-91) answered with 16 points each for Ahli Shabab. Dacin Tigers - ONGC 94-62 Dacin Tigers knocked down ONGC at the start of the FIBA Asia Champions Cup. Chang Chia-Jung (194-F-88) tallied 22 points to lead the Taiwanese team. Dacin Tigers recorded a 50:22 halftime lead. Dacin Tigers stretched the lead at 37-point mark at the final intermission and never looked back en route to the win.
