Kentrell Barkley (ex Taiwan Beer) agreed terms with Jobstreet.com Singapore Slingers

Jobstreetcom-Singapore-Slingers inked 26-year old American 195cm swingman Kentrell Barkley (college: ECU), agency: Haylett Sports for upcoming season. Barkley played most recently at Taiwan Beer in Taiwanese SBL league. In 19 games he was league's second best scorer with impressive 22.8ppg and had 13.0rpg (#2 in the league), 3.9apg (top 4), 1.4spg and 1.1bpg last season. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. Great season indeed as he was awarded Asia-basket.com All-Taiwanese SBL Import Player of the Year, Asia-basket.com All-Taiwanese SBL Player of the Year and League Player of the Week (4 times).
In 2018 he was drafted by Santa Cruz Warriors (G-League) in first round (17th overall).
The former East Carolina University star is in his fifth season in pro basketball.
Barkley has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to three different continents (Europe, Australia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Australia (Mount Gambier Pioneers), Luxembourg (Kordall Steelers) and NBA G League (RGV Vipers).
Barkley won Taiwanese SBL championship title in 2020.
