Gettys re-signs at Jobstreet.com Singapore Slingers

C.J. Gettys

Jobstreetcom-Singapore-Slingers confirmed in their roster 28-year old American center C.J. Gettys (213cm-127kg-1994, college: Rutgers, agency: Haylett Sports) for upcoming 2023 season. Gettys joins another USA player Xavier Alexander who is already in the roster.
He played there last season. The last season he played at ICG Forca Lleida in Spanish LEB Gold where in four D2 games he had 3.3ppg, 3.8rpg and 1.0apg.
He has played on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Japan (Toyoda and Shinagawa), United Kingdom (Cheshire Phoenix and Newcastle Eagles) and The Basketball Tournament (Playing for Jimmy).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his college team won British BBL Cup in 2018. Gettys was voted to Eurobasket.com All-British BBL Honorable Mention back in 2019.
He graduated from Rutgers University in 2017 and it will be his seventh season as a professional player.
