In 2016 (six years after he left the college) Garcia was drafted by Austin Spurs (D-League) in fourth round (79th overall). The former Seattle University star is in his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball. Garcia has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2014. Garcia was a member of Belizean Senior National Team two years ago. He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball Garcia experienced life in twelve different countries playing on four different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Garcia has played previously professionally in Bahrain, Iceland (Grindavik), Japan (Yokohama B-Corsairs), Korea (Seoul Samsung Thunders and Goyang Orions), Mexico (Potros), Philippines (Ginebra Kings), Puerto Rico (Vaqueros), Spain, Turkey, NBA G League (Sioux Falls Skyforce and Fort Wayne Mad Ants), Taiwan (Bank of Taiwan) and D-League (Utah F.).
