Liam McMorrow
Formosa Dreamers (ASEAN League) landed 32-year old Canadian center Liam McMorrow (218-C-87, college: Tenn Tech, agency: Slash Sports). He is the second foreign player in the roster as USA Cullen Russo signed here earlier.
McMorrow played in the summer at Hunan in Chinese NBL league. In 12 games he averaged impressive 16.2ppg, 13.0rpg and 1.2apg. The last season McMorrow was tested by the OKC Blue in NBA. But in two games he had just 0.5ppg.
In 2012 McMorrow was drafted by Iowa Energy (D-League) in fourth round (57th overall).
The former Tennessee Tech University staris in his eighth season in pro basketball.
Among other achievements McMorrow won NBL Canada Atlantic Division championship title in 2015. He received also Asia-basket.com All-Taiwanese SBL Honorable Mention award in 2014, 2017 and 2018.
McMorrow is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in seven different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with Asian, Latin American and of course North American leagues. McMorrow has played previously professionally in Argentina (Obras), Iran (Naft Abadan), Philippines (Barako Bull), Taiwan (Yulon Luxgen, Bank of Taiwan, Taiwan Beer and Fubon Braves), Canada (Halifax Rainmen), China (Monkey Kings) and The Basketball Tournament (Eberlein Drive).
Let's have closer look into His outlook: Liam has a lot of potential as a 7'2' who is athletic and can run the floor and change opponent's shots by being so tall and long. He is an intelligent player that is learning to use his size to his advantage. Skilled around the basket and can finish with both hands.
