DEWARICK SPENCER

36-year old guard Dewarick Spencer (192-G-82) had a great game in the last round for Macau and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 24.
He had the game-high 42 points adding nine rebounds and five assists for Macau in his team's victory, helping them to outclass SM Beermen (#2, 18-7) with 30-point margin 114-84. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Macau is placed at 3rd position in ASEAN League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Macau will need more victories to improve their 14-10 record. In the team's last game Spencer had a remarkable 80.0% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 12 attempts. He just recently signed at Macau and just after two games he already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. Dewarick Spencer averages just after two games 38.0ppg, 7.5rpg and 5.0apg.

Second best performed player last round was Mikh McKinney (184-G-92). He is American-Filipino guard in his first season at Macau. In the last game McKinney recorded impressive 43 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Of course together with Spencer he helped Macau with another comfortable win outscoring slightly higher-ranked SM Beermen (#2, 18-7) 114-84. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Macau consolidated its place in top 3 of the standings. His team's 14-10 record is not bad at all. McKinney is a newcomer at Macau and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 28.1ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 5.8rpg and 6.3apg.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Michael Singletary (198-F-88) of Mono Vampire (#8). Singletary got into 30-points club by scoring 36 points in the last round. He went also for seven rebounds and eight assists. He was a key player of Mono Vampire, leading his team to a 107-102 win against the higher-ranked Macau (#3, 14-10). The chances of Mono Vampire not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 15 games, recording just nine victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Singletary could try to bring Mono Vampire's a little bit higher in the standings. Singletary has individually a great season in ASEAN League. After 21 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 25.7ppg (3rd best). Singletary attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.

Other top performing players last week:
4. DeAngelo Hamilton (203-F/C-90) of Saigon H. - 27 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists
5. Romeo Travis (198-PF-84) of Mono Vampire - 17 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists
