MIKH MCKINNEY

American-Filipino Mikh McKinney (184-G-92) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Macau and that's him to receive a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 23.
The 26-year old guard had the game-high 50 points adding nine rebounds and seven assists for Macau as his team lost the game against SM Beermen (#1, 18-5) 96-101. Macau moved-up to the 7th position in ASEAN League. Macau is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. But it was their 10th lost game this season out of 21 games. In the team's last game McKinney had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range and got seven three-pointers out of 13 attempts. He turned to be Macau's top player in his first season with the team. Sacramento State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. McKinney is league's best scorer averaging so far 27.6ppg. McKinney is in league's top in assists (5th best: 6.3apg) and averages solid 2.0spg,59.0% FGP and 40.6% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 31-year old American guard Doug Herring Jr. (191-G-87) of CLS Knights. Herring Jr. impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 36 points and 11 rebounds. It was enough for CLS Knights to edge the higher-ranked Singapore S. (#3, 13-9) by 4 points 99-95. This victory allowed CLS Knights to move up to 6th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 12-12 record is not bad and everything may still change. Herring Jr. is a newcomer at CLS Knights and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was American Will Artino (211-C/F-92) of second-ranked Formosa D.. Artino got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for fourteen rebounds and four assists. He was a key player of Formosa D., leading his team to a 97-78 easy win against the lower-ranked Zhuhai (#10, 2-21). Formosa D. needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 17 victories and 6 lost games. Artino has a great season in ASEAN League. After 20 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 10.8rpg (9th best). He also has 1.5bpg and FGP: 55.4%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Jerran Young (198-G-91) of Singapore S. - 41 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Kyle Barone (203-C-89) of Saigon H. - 32 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists
6. Renaldo Balkman (203-F-84) of SM Beermen - 26 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists
7. Romeo Travis (198-PF-84) of Mono Vampire - 21 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists
8. Xavier Alexander (198-G-88) of Singapore S. - 32 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists
9. Tevin Glass (206-F-94) of Formosa D. - 27 points and 12 rebounds
10. Michael Singletary (198-F-88) of Mono Vampire - 17 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists
