DARRYL WATKINS

34-year old center Darryl Watkins (211-C-84) had a very impressive game in the last round for CLS Knights and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 15.
He had a double-double of 26 points and 18 rebounds, while his team outclassed Zhuhai (#10, 1-14) with 28-point margin 132-104. CLS Knights maintains the 7th position in ASEAN League . CLS Knights is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 7-7 record. In the team's last game Watkins had a remarkable 73.3% from 2-point range. He turned to be CLS Knights' top player in his first season with the team. Syracuse University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Watkins is in league's top in points (4th best: 15.5ppg) and averages solid 1.2bpg and 53.7% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Doug Herring Jr. (191-G-87). He is American guard in his first season at CLS Knights. In the last game Herring Jr. recorded impressive double-double of 23 points and 15 assists. Of course together with Watkins he helped CLS Knights with another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Zhuhai (#10, 1-14) 132-104. CLS Knights' 7th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 7-7 record is not bad and everything may still change. Herring Jr. is a newcomer at CLS Knights and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward John Fields (205-F/C-88) of Singapore S. (#5). Fields scored 20 points and grabbed twenty one rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Singapore S., leading his team to a 87-80 win against slightly higher-ranked Saigon H. (#3, 10-5). Singapore S. needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 8 victories and 6 lost games. Fields has a great season in ASEAN League. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.6ppg (7th best) and rebounds with 12.1rpg (5th best). He also has 1.9bpg and FGP: 55.5%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Renaldo Balkman (203-F-84) of SM Beermen - 20 points, 14 rebounds and 7 assists
5. Xavier Alexander (198-G-88) of Singapore S. - 25 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists
6. Michael Taylor (186-G-86) of Zhuhai - 32 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists

The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
