Mono Vampire upset Singapore Slingers to sweep the quarterfinal series. Mono Vampire shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. American forward Michael Singletary (198-88, college: Texas Tech) scored 29 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Maltese center Samuel Deguara (223-91) chipped in 15 points, 17 rebounds and 5 blocks during the contest. Singletary is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American guard Xavier Alexander (198-88, college: S.Nazarene) responded with 25 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and his fellow American import power forward Christien Charles (216-81, college: Villanova) scored 20 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Singapore Slingers' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.

Alab Pilipinas knocked down Saigon Heat to complete the sweep. Alab Pilipinas dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Saigon Heat's 24. They outrebounded Saigon Heat 59-25 including a 22-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. American-Puerto Rican forward Renaldo Balkman (203-84, college: S.Carolina) notched a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds to lead the effort and American forward Justin Brownlee (197-88, college: St.John's) supported him with 18 points and 13 rebounds. Brownlee is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Alab Pilipinas' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 22 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals by Jamaican-American guard Akeem Scott (185-83, college: High Point) did not help to save the game for Saigon Heat. American-Thailand Moses Morgan (198-92, college: CS Fullerton) added 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the hosts. Five Alab Pilipinas and four Saigon Heat players scored in double figures.

Chen Cai (205-C-93) had an amazing evening in the last round for Zhuhai and that's him to receive a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 11. The 25-year old center had the game-high 34 points adding eight rebounds and five assists for Zhuhai as his team lost the game against Westports MD (#6, 4-3) 83-89.
