XAVIER ALEXANDER

29-year old guard Xavier Alexander (198-G-88) had an amazing evening in the last round for Singapore S. and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 16.
He had a double-double of 38 points and 14 rebounds, while his team crushed Saigon H. (#6, 10-10) with 20-point margin 97-77. Singapore S. maintains the 5th position in ASEAN League . They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Singapore S. will need more victories to improve their 12-8 record. In the team's last game Alexander had a remarkable 55.0% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Singapore S., through which he has constantly improved. Southern Nazarene University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Alexander is in league's top in points (5th best: 19.4ppg), assists (4th best: 5.3apg) and averages solid 1.4bpg and 2.1spg.

Second best performed player last round was Joshua Munzon (191-G-95) of Westports MD. He is American guard in his first season at Westports MD. In the last game Munzon recorded impressive 43 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Bad luck as Westports MD lost that game 102-108 to the higher-ranked Mono Vampire (#4, 14-6). Munzon is one of the most experienced players at Westports MD and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.4ppg (#4). His other stats are also decent: 7.8rpg and 4.2apg.

Third place about best performers goes to center Justin Howard (209-C-81) of league's leader Chongson. Howard scored 24 points and grabbed twenty two rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Chongson, leading his team to a 88-77 win against #3 ranked Hong Kong ELL in a game of the week. Chongson confirms their top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 15 victories and 5 lost games. Howard has a great season in ASEAN League.
