MICHAEL SINGLETARY

29-year old forward Michael Singletary (198-F-88) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Mono Vampire and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 13.
He had a double-double of 41 points and 19 rebounds, while his team beat Chongson (#6, 7-5) 105-92. Mono Vampire is placed at 2nd position in ASEAN League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Mono Vampire will need more victories to improve their 12-5 record. In the team's last game Singletary had a remarkable 53.8% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He turned to be Mono Vampire's top player in his first season with the team. Texas Tech University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Singletary is league's best scorer averaging so far 28.9ppg. Singletary is in league's top in assists (9th best: 4.9apg) and averages solid 45.3% from behind 3-point line. Worth to mention Singletary played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

Second best performed player last round was Maxie Esho (206-F/C-91, agency: Two Points) of Saigon H.. He is American-Nigerian forward in his first season at Saigon H.. In the last game Esho recorded impressive double-double of 35 points and 12 rebounds. Of course he led Saigon H. to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked CLS Knights (#8, 3-12) 114-86. This victory allowed Saigon H. to move up to 5th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 8-7 record is not bad and everything may still change. Esho is one of the most experienced players at Saigon H. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 26.1ppg (#2). He also registered 10.8 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Christien Charles (216-F/C-81) of Singapore S. (#4). Charles got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. He went also for nineteen rebounds . He was a key player of Singapore S., leading his team to a 89-86 win against slightly lower-ranked Chongson (#6, 7-5). Singapore S. needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 10 victories and 7 lost games. Charles has a great season in ASEAN League. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.2ppg (8th best) and rebounds with 15.5rpg (#1 in league).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Renaldo Balkman (203-F-84) of Alab Pilipinas - 33 points, 19 rebounds and 2 assists
5. Samuel Deguara (223-C-91) of Mono Vampire - 24 points, 19 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Xavier Alexander (198-G-88) of Singapore S. - 32 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
