CAMERON FORTE

American Cameron Forte (201-F-93) put on an amazing game in the last round for Formosa D. and that's him to receive a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 12.
The 24-year old forward had a double-double of 42 points and twenty five rebounds, while his team was edged out by Westports MD (#7, 4-10) 95-92. Formosa D. maintains the 9th position in ASEAN League . The season is in a full swing, so it's only a dream for the team to make it into top half of the standings. For contrary they may face relegation if the situation turns from bad to worse. Formosa D. have already lost 16 games and recorded just one victory. Forte just recently signed at Formosa D., being already a very valuable addition to the team. Cameron Forte averages just after three games 28.7ppg and 16.3rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 36-year old American power forward Christien Charles (216-F/C-81) of Singapore S.. Charles impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 24 points and 29 rebounds. Of course he led Singapore S. to another comfortable win 94-76 over slightly lower-ranked Saigon H. (#6, 7-7) being unquestionably team leader. Singapore S.'s 4th position in the standings has not changed. His team's 9-7 record is not bad at all. Charles is one of the most experienced players at Singapore S. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was American Renaldo Balkman (203-F-84) of second-ranked Alab Pilipinas. Balkman showcased his all-around game by recording 21 points, fourteen rebounds (!!!) and six assists in the last round. He was a key player of Alab Pilipinas, leading his team to a 117-93 easy win against the lower-ranked Formosa D. (#9, 1-16). Alab Pilipinas needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 11 victories and 4 lost games. Balkman has a great season in ASEAN League. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.0ppg (7th best) and rebounds with 11.8rpg (7th best). He also has 2.5spg, 2.5bpg and FGP: 51.8%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Justin Brownlee (197-F-88) of Alab Pilipinas - 27 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists
5. Maxie Esho (206-F/C-91) of Saigon H. - 27 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Chris Eversley (201-F-91) of Westports MD - 38 points, 15 rebounds and 3 assists
7. Shane Edwards (201-F-87) of CLS Knights - 33 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Michael Singletary (198-F-88) of Mono Vampire - 31 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Alfred Mandani) of Singapore S. - 25 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists
10. Akeem Scott (185-G-83) of Saigon H. - 26 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

The Player of the Week awards are presented by Interperformances. Interperformances is a full-service agency specializing in the representation of professional athletes the world-over.
