It was an exceptional evening for American guard Evan Gilyard II (178-1998, college: UMKC) who led the winners and scored 17 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import forward Hassan Thomas (203-1996, college: Emporia St.) accounted for 14 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side. Five Heat players scored in double figures.
