24-year old forward Nick King (201-F-95) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked Alab Pilipinas and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 15.
He had a double-double of 20 points and 15 rebounds, while his team crushed Saigon H. (#10, 3-11) with 20-point margin 99-79. Alab Pilipinas maintains the 2nd position in ASEAN League . They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Alab Pilipinas will need more victories to improve their 10-6 record. In the team's last game King had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range. He turned to be Alab Pilipinas' top player in his first season with the team. Nick King averages this season 19.9ppg and 8.5rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Sam Thompson (201-F-92, agency: Pensack Sports) of Saigon H.. He is American forward in his first season at Saigon H.. In the last game Thompson recorded impressive double-double of 36 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Saigon H. lost that game 79-99 to the higher-ranked Alab Pilipinas (#2, 10-6). Saigon H. are still at the very bottom. 11 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Saigon H. managed to get this year. Thompson is one of the most experienced players at Saigon H. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.7ppg (#9). He also registered 8.5 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to another Alab Pilipinas' star - center Samuel Deguara (225-C-91). Deguara scored 23 points and grabbed eight rebounds. He was another key player of Alab Pilipinas, helping his team with a 99-79 easy win against the lower-ranked Saigon H. (#10, 3-11). Alab Pilipinas needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 10 victories and 6 lost games. Deguara has a very solid season. In 14 games in ASEAN League he scored 14.6ppg. He also has 10.1rpg and FGP: 62.8%.
