ASEAN League round 10 best performance: Jason Brickman- February 2, 2020
The 28-year old player was the main contributor (32 points, eight rebounds and eight assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Mono Vampire (#1, 9-4) 100-92. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Alab Pilipinas maintains the 3rd position in ASEAN League . They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Alab Pilipinas will need more victories to improve their 7-4 record. In the team's last game Brickman had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 8 attempts. It was one of impressive evenings for him as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Former Long Island University star has very solid stats this year. Brickman is league's best passer with 9.4apg. Brickman is in league's top in and averages impressive 51.5% from behind 3-point line. The second best player in last round's games was 28-year old American Jerran Young (198-G-91) of Formosa D.. Young had a very good evening with a double-double of 20 points and 16 rebounds. It was enough for Formosa D. to edge the lower-ranked WM Dragons (#8, 4-5) 85-79. Formosa D.'s 4th position in the standings has not changed. His team's 7-7 record is not bad at all. Young is a newcomer at Formosa D., but is already one of team's top players. Third on the list of top players last round was American swingman Kenny Manigault (196-G/F-91) of Macau (#5). Manigault showcased his all-around game by recording 27 points, fourteen rebounds (!!!) and eight assists in the last round. He was a key player of Macau, leading his team to a 97-80 easy win against the lower-ranked Hong Kong ELL (#9, 3-7). Macau needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 7 lost games. Manigault has a great season in ASEAN League. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 26.2ppg (best scorer) and assists with 6.1apg (8th best). He also has 2.5spg, 1.1bpg and FGP: 50.3%. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
